On this eleventh anniversary of September 11, Kansas Senator Pat Roberts implores everyone to thank those who have fought and continue to fight the war on terror.

Roberts asks that everyone observe a moment of silence today in remembrance.

Memorials are being held in New York, at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, PA, to honor the more than 3,000 who died in the attacks eleven years ago.
