A warm day is in store across southwest and central Kansas, as afternoon temperatures climb as warm as the mid 90s.
A cold front is then expected to enter the area late in the afternoon, and then into south central Kansas by the early evening. Seasonal weather is expected Friday before another cold front arrives late in the day. That front will bring a much cooler air-mass for the weekend. Highs are not expected to exceed the low 70s on Saturday.
Temperatures will warm back into the 80s by Monday and Tuesday.
