The Hays High boys soccer team played to a 1-1 tie Tuesday in Junction City.

Kellen Griffin scored in the 37th minute off an assist from Curtis Renz to give the Indians the lead, but the Bluejays answered two minutes later on a corner kick.

Despite outshooting Junction City by a wide margin, the Indians failed to score again through the end of regulation and the two overtime periods.

Hays is now 3-5-2. They will travel to Liberal tomorrow.
