The TMP-Marian boys cross country team finishes second and the girls third at yesterday’s Lyons Invitational.

Heather Ruder (15:38.82) won the girls’ race by nearly 45 seconds. Shelby Stauffer (18:08.38) finished 10th, Kayla Walker (18:13.59) 11th and Jordan Manhart (18:53.00) 16th.

The Monarchs boys were led by Tony Staab’s (19:53.42) sixth-place finish with teammates Andrew Hess (19:54.92) seventh and Nick Dopita (20:10.58) eighth. Austin Dinkel (20:38.14) was 12th and Matt Mindrup (20:39.01) 14th.
