Proposals will be accepted for the county shop building in Ellis. The county commission approved advertising the sale of the building, but Commissioner Swede Holmgren says the community wants the historical integrity of the building maintained.

One issue for the county is the need for land to store materials. The land around the building is part of the proposal, but the county is looking for a tract in the western part of the county.
