The Hays Police Department conducted 14 traffic stops and received eight animal calls on Tuesday, according to the Hays Police Activity Log.
Vehicle Accidents: The Hays Police Department responded to six motor vehicle accident reports on Tuesday. Two of the accidents were reported as personal injury accidents. One occurred at 32nd and Vine at 3:57 Tuesday afternoon and another was reported in the 100 block of West 12th Street. Officers also investigated a vehicle accident in the 100 block of East 28th Street at 7:57 Tuesday morning. The three other vehicle accidents were reported Tuesday. The first was at 27th and Barclay Drive, a second accident with private property occurred in the 1700 block of Hall Street and the final was reported at 20th and Main Street Tuesday evening.
Driving Under the Influence: Officers conducted one driving under the influence stop on Tuesday. The alleged stop was conducted in the 200 block of West 8th Street at 8:50 Tuesday evening.
Civil Dispute: Officers responded to the 200 block of West 15th Tuesday and began an investigation into a civil dispute.
Dangerous Animal: One of the eight animal calls the Hays Police Department received Tuesday was the report of a dangerous animal in the 300 block of West 17th Street at 3:15 Tuesday.
