The Hays Police Department conducted 17 traffic stops and received six animal calls on Wednesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Burglary: The Hays Police Department investigated the report of a burglary/theft in the 300 block of East 5th Street on Wednesday. The alleged incident occurred at 11:44AM.

Drug Offenses: Officers investigated two drug related offenses on Wednesday evening. The first offense was reported in the 100 block of Ash Street just after 11PM. Officer also responded to the 100 block of Main Street for the report of suspicious activity at 11:53 Wednesday evening. Officers investigated drug related offenses in connection with the investigation.

Domestic Disturbance: The Hays PD investigated a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1900 block of Vine Street Wednesday afternoon just after 4:00PM.

Motor Vehicle Accident: Officers responded to three vehicle accident reports on Wednesday. The first accident was reported just after 10:20 Wednesday morning at 33rd and Vine Street. Another accident was reported at 8th and Allen Street at 1:22PM and the final motor vehicle accident reported Wednesday occurred in the 300 block of East 32nd Street at 5:50PM.

Liquor Offense: The Hays Police Department investigated four liquor offenses on Wednesday. The first was reported in the 2700 block of Vine Street at 3:43. Another liquor offense was reported in the 2100 block of Vine Street at 4:05. At 4:22 another liquor was reported in the 2500 block of Vine Street and the final liquor offense was reported in the 300 block of 8th Street at 4:49PM.
