FHSU Organization Expands Service Project

Approximately 450 volunteers are needed to help the Global Leadership Project at Fort Hays State University package 100,000 meals for the SWIPE Out Hunger program. Coordinator Kelly Nuckolls says the group raised the money to purchase the meals, which will be sent to Africa.

The packaging event is Saturday from noon to three at Forsyth Library. To sign up for a one or two hour shift email [email protected].

Participants also are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item that will go to the campus food pantry.
