Trego Community High School’s principal has been honored by a statewide organization.

John Luhrs has been named the Area 5 High School Principal of the year by the Kansas Association of Secondary School Principals. The candidates are evaluated on school leadership, school improvement, dedication, professionalism and service to students.

KASSP has over 400 members from across the state.
