Law enforcement officers and employees from 40 agencies are at Fort Hays State University this week for training on white collar crime.
The sessions are teaching investigators how to use the Internet Complaint Search and Investigation System, cell phones and GPS systems in analyzing evidence and putting together cases. Cynthia Gonnella is an instructor with the National White Collar Crime Center.
Gonnella is working to make Fort Hays State a training hub in the high-tech tools used in white collar crime. A Fast Track Training program is being planned for next spring.
Law enforcement personnel interested in participating are encouraged to contact Gonnella through the National White Collar Crime Center website, nw3c.org or by calling 877-628-7674 ext. 4201.
