The Hays Police Department conducted 14 traffic stops and received seven animal calls on Tuesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated a report of a theft on Tuesday. The alleged theft occurred between October 15th and October 18th.

Burglary: Officers investigated an alleged burglary of a vehicle in the 1100 block of East 15th Street. The theft occurred between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning at 8:00AM.

Motor Vehicle Accident: There were four motor vehicle accidents reported to the Hays Police Department. The first accident was reported as a hit and run accident in the 1000 block of East 17th Street Tuesday morning at 11:21. Another accident was reported in the 1200 block of Canterbury at 3:13PM. The third accident occurred at 12th and Vine Streets at 3:52PM. The final accident, with private property was reported in the 4300 block of Vine Street at 4:43PM.
