Kids are encouraged to head to the polls with their parents Tuesday.

Kids Voting will again be offered to students from kindergarten through high school if they are not already of voting age. All the polling sites in Hays will be open with volunteers working each booth from 7 to 8:30 am and 3 to 7 pm.

Kids Voting is an effort to provide exposure to the election process at a young age.
