The past few days the Salina Journal has come out of the closet and revealed itself as a left wing bias newspaper. There is nothing wrong with the paper stating opinions and endorsing candidates, in fact, it is part of the election process. What is discouraging, is that the Journal only opines one side and only endorses one party. Fair and balanced has disappeared.
Sundays endorsement of Obama for a 2nd term consisted of the mass media rehash of the campaign from the Obama camp. Their attempt at “balance” was to say Obama didn’t keep some promises and then listed two which really have little to do with the mess the country is in. They never listed the other promises he did not keep…lower deficit, unemployment.
They did not list the waste of money on “green” energy and jobs, in fact they praised the effort, a bailout that will not be paid back to the taxpayers while robbing those who should have received money from the sale of the company, nor did they mention ‘Fast and Furious’ or the Benghazi affair.
Seems the Salina Journal is a victim of the mass media’s selective reporting. Like the old 333 line and the Sound off line, the Journal is hiding behind an alias…The Journal Staff..Just who are these folk?
