The Hays Police Department conducted 16 traffic stops and received four animal calls on Monday, according to the Hays Police Activity Log.
Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated two alleged reports of theft on Monday. The first was a report of a theft a vehicle in the 200 block of East 6th Street. The theft occurred between Sunday evening a 9:00PM and Monday morning at 7:46AM. Another theft was reported in the 1300 block of Oak Street Monday. The alleged theft occurred between Saturday at 12:00PM and Sunday at 12:00PM.
Burglary: Hays Police Officers investigated four burglary reports on Monday. Three of the alleged burglaries were vehicle burglaries. The first was reported in the 200 block of East 6th Monday morning at 8:18. The second was reported in the 300 block of East 7th Street at 10:07AM and the final vehicle burglary was reported in the 600 block of East 11th Street at 10:15AM. Officers also investigated an alleged burglary of a residence in the 400 block of West 4th Street. The burglary occurred between October 31st and November 1st.
Disturbance: Officers received three disturbance reports on Monday. The first was the report of a domestic disturbance in the 2700 block of Colonial Street at 9:45AM. The final two reports were noise reports.
Civil Dispute: The Hays Police Department responded to a report of a civil dispute in connection with a mental health call in the 2200 block of Canterbury Drive Monday evening at 5:12.
