With Veteran’s Day on a Sunday this year, the Hays VFW will be hosting their annual recognition on Monday.

The program will begin with the flag raising and 21 gun salute at 11 am and be followed by the program with featured speaker Gordon Gorton. Stan Dreiling says the event is a way to honor veterans and those who are currently serving.

The VFW will be hosting a breakfast Sunday morning from 7:30 to 12:30.
