At the recent Kansas Association of Counties annual meeting, anticipated state budget issues were a topic of discussion. Ellis County Administrator Greg Sund says the effects will likely be passed down to local organizations.

The county commission approved Sund’s suggestion of writing a letter to the organizations that receive subsidies from the county warning them of potential reductions in funding.
