The Fort Hays State Tigers closed the first half on a 12-1 then opened the second half with a 33-4 run as they cruise past Central Christian College (Kan.) 94-39 Wednesday at Gross Coliseum. Fort Hays State is now 12-0 all-time against the Tigers and snap a two-game losing streak to improve to 3-2. The game counts as an exhibition for Central Christian who is 9-0 and ranked No. 22 in this week’s NAIA II national poll.

Central Christian closed the gap to 16 with 4:23 to play in the first half when the Tigers responded to build a 27 point halftime.
Carson Konrade went 5-for-5 from 3-point range and scored 21 points to lead Fort Hays State. Dwayne Brunson added 15 points and Lance Russell 12. The Tigers shoot 50-percent from the floor including 9-of-19 from 3-point range.

Fort Hays State is off until next Wednesday when they open MIAA play at home against Central Missouri.
