TMP 43   COLBY 33  (Boys)

The TMP boys picked up their first win of the season with a 43-33 victory over Colby in the seventh place game of the Gerald Mitchell Hays City Shootout.  The Monarchs trailed 11-8 after the 1st Quarter but led 22-20 at the half.  It was nip and tuck the rest of the way for the Monarchs,  leading by 3 after 3 Quarters and then finishing off Colby in the 4th Quarter.

Cameron Fouts led TMP in scoring with 11 points.  Shane Zimmerman added 9 points to the Monarch cause.  TMP will host Phillipsburg December 11th.

COLBY 33  TMP 24 (Girls)

The TMP Lady Monarchs dropped their 3rd straight game to open the season, losing to Colby 33-24.  Heather Ruder paced TMP with 14 points, ending the 3 games at the shootout with 40 points.  The TMP Girls will also host Phillipsburg on December 11th at Al Billinger Fieldhouse.
