The Hays Police Department conducted 10 traffic stops and received three animal calls on Monday, according to the Hays Police Activity Log.
Theft: Officers investigated on theft report on Monday. The theft was reported in the 400 block of West 16th Street and occurred between October 31st at 12:00 p.m. and November 7th at 12:00 p.m.
Drug Offenses: The Hays PD conducted on drug offenses investigation on Monday. The alleged incident occurred between Saturday morning at 8:00 and Monday morning at 9:17.
Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to two domestic disturbance reports on Monday. The first was in connection with a 911 hangup in the 1900 block of Elm Street at 1:30 a.m. The second domestic disturbance was reported in the 3700 block of Hall Street between 9:40 and 9:50 Monday night.
Disturbance: The Hays Police Department received two disturbance reports on Monday. Officers investigated a fight and a case of simple battery in connection with the first disturbance report in the 400 block of East 23rd Street Monday evening. The alleged incident occurred between 7:51 and 8:23 p.m.
Child in Need of Care: Officers from the Hays PD assisted with a report of a child in need of care Monday evening in the 1300 block of General Custer Road at 8:58 p.m.
Damage to Property: Monday afternoon, at 2:57, officers investigated a report of criminal damage to property in the 500 block of Elm Street.
