In accordance with Executive Order 10-12, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff from sun-up to sun-down on Friday, December 7th in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is an annual observance to commemorate the soldiers, sailors and marines who lost their lives on December 7th, 1941 when the Empire of Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, forcing America’s entry into the Second World War.
