The Hays Police Department conducted 13 traffic stops and received three animal calls on Monday, according to the Hays Police Activity Log.

Theft: Officers investigated one theft report on Monday. The alleged theft was reported in the 1200 block of Main Street and occurred Saturday afternoon between 2:00 and 4:00.

Drug Offenses: The Hays PD investigated drug offenses on Monday evening in the 2300 block of Commerce Parkway. The alleged incident occurred between 9:58 and 10:58 p.m.

Motor Vehicle Accident: Officers investigated one motor vehicle accident on Monday. The hit and run accident was occurred in the 1600 block of East 27th Street at 7:30 Saturday evening.

Driving Under the Influence: The Hays Police Department conducted one impaired driving/driving under the influence stop on Monday. Officers conducted the stop in the 4400 block of Vine Street at 3:43 Monday afternoon.

Criminal Damage to Property: Officers investigated a report of criminal damage to property in the 2700 block of Vine Street on Monday morning. The alleged damage occurred between Saturday at 12:00 p.m. and Monday morning at 8:00.
