The Hays Police Department conducted 10 traffic stops and received five animal calls on Wednesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Disturbance: The Hays Police Department received five disturbance reports on Wednesday. Four of the five were noise complaints. Officers investigated a minor in possession of cereal malt beverage/liquor in connection with a disturbance report in the 2700 block of Canal Boulevard at 1:22 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: Officers investigated two reports of trespassing on Wednesday. The first was reported in the 500 block of West 19th Street at 11:59 Wednesday morning. The second trespassing incident was reported in the 500 block of West 19th Street at 1:51 p.m. Officers investigated a report of criminal damage to property in connection with this trespass report.

Motor Vehicle Accident: The Hays PD responded to one motor vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon. The accident, involving private property was reported in the 1700 block of Vine Street at 1:18 p.m.

Drug Offense: Officers were called to assist with drug offenses in the 1000 block of Fort Street Wednesday afternoon at 2:33.
