Phillipsburg resident, Willis “Bill” Eugene Hodge, passed away Tues., Dec. 18, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, KS at the age of 85. He was born Sept. 9, 1927 in Phillips County to Charlie N. Hodge & Myra Belle (Yowell) Hodge. Willis worked as a Motor Carrier Inspector for the KS Dept. of Transportation.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, of the home in Phillipsburg; three daughters: Belinda Morgan of Ellis; Beverly Weis of Wichita; and Tracy Sanson of Phillipsburg; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bob Hodge of Salina.
Funeral services will be held Sat., Dec. 22, at 1:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Visitation will be Thurs. from 5 – 9 p.m. and Fri. from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Isis Shrine Traveling Fund or the Alicia Sanson Oxford House.
