The Hays Police Department conducted 10 traffic stops and received two animal calls on Thursday according to the Police Activity Log.

Robbery: The Hays Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Vine Street Thursday morning for the report of a robbery.

Theft: Officers investigated the report of a theft, in connection with a suspicious activity report in the 1000 block of Reservation Road at 10:34 Thursday evening.

Mental Heath Call: The Hays Police Department responded to two mental health calls in the early morning hours Thursday. The first was in the 200 block of West 13th Street and the second was in the 1300 block of Hall Street.

Motor Vehicle Accidents: Officers responded to four motor vehicle accidents on Thursday. The first accident was reported in the 1700 block of Volga Drive Thursday at 5:25 a.m. The second accident, was a hit and run accident in the 100 block of West 16th Street. The accident occurred between 12:00 and 7:15 a.m. An accident involving private property was reported in the 1600 block of East 27th Street at 1:50 p.m. and the final accident was reported in the 1200 block of Vine Street at 5:10 p.m.

Driving Under the Influence: The Hays PD conducted one driving under the influence stop on Thursday. The stop was conducted in the 3000 block of Barclay Drive at 10:35 p.m.
