The Hays Police Department conducted 11 traffic stops on Monday and received four animal calls on Monday. On Tuesday the Hays PD conducted 11 traffic stops, according to the Police Activity Log.

Burglary: The Hays Police Department investigated one burglary reported on Tuesday. The alleged burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Ash Street on Tuesday and occurred between 11:30 Monday night and 12:00 Tuesday afternoon.

Battery: Officers investigated two reports of simple battery on Tuesday. The battery case was investigated in the 3600 block of Vine Street at 2:01 a.m. The second battery was reported between 1:00 and 1:20 a.m. in the 200 block of West 10th Street.

Disturbance: The Hays PD received four disturbance reports on Tuesday. Three of the four reports were for domestic disturbances. The first domestic disturbance was reported in the 2500 block of Haney Drive Tuesday Morning between 3:15 and 3:38. The second domestic disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of East 17th Street between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. The third domestic disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of Timber Drive at 10:26 Tuesday evening.

Civil Dispute: Officers also investigated one civil dispute on Monday and one on Tuesday. Officers responded to the 1000 block of East 15th Street on Monday to investigate a civil dispute at 2:47 pm. Tuesday, officers investigated a civil dispute reported in the 300 block of West 7th Street at 2:55 p.m.

Suspicious Person: The Hays Police Department received a report of a suspicious person and a child in need of care Tuesday morning in the 1900 block of Vine Street. The alleged incident occurred at 4:03 Tuesday morning.

Driving Under the Influence: Officers conducted three driving under the influence stops in the early morning hours Tuesday. The first stop was conducted in the 200 block of West 7th Street at 12:31 a.m. The second stop was conducted in the 100 block of West 7th Street at 1:02 a.m. and the third DUI stop was conducted in the 300 block of West 13th Street at 1:39 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Accidents: The Hays Police Department responded to five motor vehicle accidents reported on Monday.
