The Hays Police Department conducted 21 traffic stops and received seven animal calls on Wednesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated a theft report at 17th and Judith Drive Wednesday afternoon. The alleged theft occurred at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday.

Robbery: The Hays PD began an investigation into the report of a robbery in the 2000 block of Walnut Street Wednesday night. The alleged robbery occurred between 11:40 and 11:51 Wednesday night.

Civil Dispute: Hays Police Officers responded to the report of a civil dispute in the 2700 block of Epworth Street Wednesday night at 9:23.

Disturbance: Officers responded to three disturbance reports on Wednesday. The first disturbance was reported as a fight in the 3600 block of Vine Street at 12:35 Wednesday morning. The other two disturbances were for noise.

Motor Vehicle Accidents: The Hays Police Department investigated two hit and run accidents on Wednesday. The first hit and run accident was reported in the 500 block of West 27th Street Wednesday afternoon between 3:15 and 3:30. The second hit and run accident was reported Wednesday evening at 5:55 in the 500 block of West 15th Street.
