“Finding almost 4 pounds of marijuana is significant for inside the city,” Hays Police Lt. Brandon Wright told Hays Post. That marijuana was confiscated from an Oklahoma City man after police spotted drug paraphernalia in his car during a routine check of vehicles in a local motel parking lot this week. “We’re not working I-70 so finding that much marijuana is unusual.” confirmed Wright.  Twenty four year old David Twichell remains in the Ellis County jail on various drug charges.   Police also seized his 2008 Subaru, $2500 in cash, an iPad, and an iPhone.
