KHAZ Country Music News: Toby Keith to Become an Honorary Texan Next Month

Oklahoma-born Toby Keith will be presented with a certificate from the governor of Texas next month declaring him an honorary Texan. Other celebrities who’ve received this honor include Bob Dylan, Russell Crowe and Bob Hope.

The presentation will take place during the Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Hall of Fame event March 3 in Austin, TX. Toby will also take part in a performance honoring late Country Music Hall of Famer Roger Miller.
