While some may be digging out of the snow, the sun will be shining on Kansas Democrats this weekend at their annual Washington Days in Topeka. Washington Days kicks off  Friday afternoon. A group from Hays will be on hand to enjoy the festivities.

New County Democratic Chair Anthony Glassman told Hays Post he looks forward to the rally, the speakers and especially to visiting the various committee hospitality rooms. “It is a great way to meet and get to know a lot of other democrats,” he said. This is Glassman’s first time to attend as county chair which will give him the opportunity to participate in several exclusive meetings.
