The K-State Ag Research Center in Hays confirmed this morning that Hays received 17 inches of snow. The 10 inches of snow on Wednesday was the 2nd biggest snowfall in Hays ever reported in the month of February. The Hays area has now had 24.4 inches of snow for the season.
This morning’s low temperature was 4 degrees.
A year ago today, according to the research center, it was 70 degrees in Hays.
