The 8 schools assigned to a site will be divided into 2 sub-state tournaments with all games being played at the higher seeded team. First round games will be played at the higher seeded team on Wednesday, February 27 (Girls 5A) and Thursday, February 28 (Boys 5A).

Finals will be played at the higher seeded team: Friday – Girls 5A; Saturday Boys 5A.

The Lady Indians are the seven seed and will play at Salina South Wednesday at 7:00. Hays lost in overtime to the Cougars back in January.

The boys will host rival Great Bend as the two seed.  Game time is 7:00 on Thursday. Great Bend beat the Indians in their only meeting. The loss was the first for Hays after starting the season 7-0. The regular season finale was cancelled between the two on Friday due to the winter weather.

Class 3A

The #8 Seed TMP girls will open Sub-state play on Thursday at #4 Hoisington

The #4 Seed TMP boys will host Russell on Friday night.
