Governor Sam Brownback’s Drought Response Team will meet Friday to hear the latest update on the lingering Kansas drought.

The team will  share updates regarding drought conditions, contacts with public water suppliers as well as resources available to Kansans to cope with the ongoing drought.

The 12-member team is chaired by the head of the Kansas Water Office Tracy Streeter.

The meeting will be at 10 a.m. at the Kansas Department of Agriculture.
