More than 1500 Special Olympics athletes and coaches from across Kansas will be heading to Hays March 21, 22 and 23, 2013 for the annual Sate Basketball and Cheerleading tournament.  This is the 37th year the tournament has been held in Hays.  The athletes will play over 150 games during the 3 day event, participate in individual skills and compete in cheerleading.  The presenting sponsor is the Kansas State Council of the Knights of Columbus.
