Hays KanCare Meetings Rescheduled After Weather Cancellation

kancare logoThe KanCare program has rescheduled educational meetings  that were postponed last month because of the snow storm.

Provider and consumer meetings will take place in Hays March 18.

KanCare launched Jan. 1.   Kansas Medicaid became KanCare, affecting nearly 370,000 Kansans.  Under KanCare every Kansan who has Medicaid will have the choice of three insurers–Amerigroup, Sunflower and United.

The upcoming round of re-scheduled meetings will be dedicated to helping KanCare members and providers with questions they have regarding the ongoing transition, including the 90-day choice and continuity of care period for health plan coverage.

Consumer meetings will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the following locations:
March 18 at Hays Ramada Inn
Provider meetings will take place from 1-3 p.m. at the following locations:
March 18 at Hays Ramada Inn
