The Kansas Historical Society has announced new operation hours at Fort Hays State Historic Site. The site will now be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.  Fort Hays is at 1472 U.S. Highway 183 Alternate in Hays.  Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for students.  Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and younger admitted free.
