Each year, the President of the United States is required, by law, to present a budget to Congress on the first Monday of February. This year, President Obama will not release his budget until April 8, which will make it the latest budget ever for a sitting President. President Obama will have delivered his budget late to Congress four out of his five years in office. Congressman Tim Huelskamp issued this statement concerning the late budget.
“President Obama is not only the worst spender in American history, but no other President has so openly flaunted his disregard of the budget process. By delaying his budget yet again, President Obama has once again shown he is an irresponsible, amateur President who has little desire to put America’s fiscal house back in order.”
