The latest round of winter weather has brought as much as 5″ of snow to parts of Kansas.

The weather kept towing companies in Hays very busy. Bobbi with 5 Star Towing told Hays Post “I have lost count, it has been a very busy day. We’ve had more calls for one day than the last storm.” Matt who also works for 5 Star told Hays Post, “We started taking calls at 6 a.m. on Sunday and have been on the run for  almost 12 hours.”  Five Star did tow a Chevy Silverado involved in a rollover accident on Antonino Road Sunday afternoon. Law enforcement reported no serious injuries from the accident.

Augie’s Towing told Hays Post the majority of the calls they received involved vehicles sliding off I-70 near milepost 154.
