Hays Police are investigating the alleged theft of a wallet at the Kwik Shop, 1301 Vine Street.  A customer had reported the wallet was missing. It had reportedly been found and placed by store employees in a drawer at the business.

Debbie, who works at the Kwik Shop told Hays Post in a phone conversation on Sunday morning that the wallet was originally lost in the convenience store parking lot and that she had called police. She wanted to visit with Police in person before she could say more. Stay tuned to Hays Post and Eagle radio for details as they become available.
