Wednesday’s Police Activity Log

Police - Hays 001The Hays Police Department conducted 26 traffic stops and received nine animal calls on Wednesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Theft: The Hays PD investigated on theft report on Wednesday. The alleged theft occurred in the 4300 block of Vine Street sometime between 7:30 and 7:35 Wednesday evening.

Burglary: Officers investigated two burglary reports on Wednesday. The first was reported as a theft in the 700 block of East 6th Street Wednesday morning. The alleged burglary occurred between Tuesday night at 11:30 and 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. The Hays PD also investigated the report of the burglary of a business in the 2100 block of Lincoln Drive that occurred between Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 and Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 p.m.

Suspicious Activity: The Hays PD responded to the report of a suspicious activity in the 400 block of West 3rd Street at 2:55 Wednesday afternoon.

Disturbance: Officers responded to the report of a disturbance at 12:00 a.m. in the 3100 block of Tam O’Shanter Drive.

Motor Vehicle Accident: The Hays Police Department responded to four motor vehicle accidents on Wednesday. Two of the accidents were hit and run accidents. The first hit and run accident was reported in the 100 block of West 20th Street at 12:00 a.m. Wednesday. The second hit and run was reported in the 500 block of West 37th Street at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday. Officers investigated the report of a civil dispute in connection with the accident report.
