An Omaha, Nebraska man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Phillips County Thursday morning.

According to the Highway Patrol, 53-year-old Michael Lampe was eastbound on Highway 36 just before noon when his truck left the road and traveled through the south ditch. The pickup went through a fence and hit a tree in a field.

Lampe was not wearing a seat belt. He died at the Phillips County Hospital.
