It’s back to work for Walmart employees in Great Bend. A bomb threat prompted authorities to evacuate the store Saturday afternoon. There was a similar threat called in to the Walmart in Salina. That store was also evacuated. Brittany Mayhugh who works for Walmart in Great Bend told Hays Post, “Yes, we’re all alive. It was exciting and scary. We are all back to work now and it’s busy.”
Law enforcement authorities have not found anything suspicious at either location but continue to investigate. Two Walmart stores near Colorado Springs also received bomb threats this weekend. The Walmart store in Hays was not a part of the bomb threat.
