For the past eight years, financial adviser Jeff Seibel with Edward Jones in Hays has traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with the state’s Congressional delegation about financial issues. Seibel says the focus is preserving the incentives to save for retirement.

Those incentives include tax benefits for IRAs and 401Ks.

Seibel says the U.S. is not in the top ten nations in terms of retirement savings.
