Cool start to the Work Week

wxA warming trend is expected to develop by Tuesday. In the meantime, cold temperatures with highs only in the 30’s are expected this afternoon as high pressure continues to settle across the central High Plains. Light winds and clear skies Tonight will promote cold temperatures again in the teens by early Tuesday morning.

Today: Occasional flurries after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 32. Wind chill values as low as 1. Northwest wind 14 to 17 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 14. Wind chill values as low as 2. West northwest wind 5 to 14 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 48. Wind chill values as low as 3 early. West southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Southeast wind 9 to 11 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57.
