The Ellis County Extension Office will host the program “Leaving a Legacy” on Wednesday, April 10, at 12:00 noon, at the Extension Office Meeting Room, 601 Main Street, Hays. A light lunch will be provided. This program will give a brief overview of the major tools– some familiar, some not– that allow someone to preserve and pass on their values through their estate plan. Topics will focus on general how-to information and will not address or promote specific charities. This information will be helpful for those considering making charitable estate gifts and for charities and charity board members interested in learning about these options.
The guest speaker is Doug Beech, Planned Giving Officer for the Kansas 4-H Foundation.
