Gabriela Saravia has been named the MIAA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week  for her efforts in the high jump this past week at the UT-Arlington Bobby Lane Invitational.

Saravia topped a field of 19 competitors with a height of 5-feet, 8.75-inches, a new career best. With that effort, she moved to second on the NCAA Division II national performance list with the best provisional mark posted yet this spring for the outdoor season.
