Local Students named FHSU VIP Ambassadors

HAYS, Kan. — Local students are among the 25 selected to serve as VIP Student Ambassadors for the 2013-2014 academic year at Fort Hays State University.fort_hays_state_university_ihe_medium 

Ambassadors serve as official representatives at a variety of special events including Homecoming, athletic activities, presidential dinners and other gatherings. Students must be full-time undergraduate students with a minimum 2.5 grade point average and able to assist with nine to 10 events per year. 

Ambassadors, with classifications, majors and high schools, are listed by hometown. 

HAYS: Derek Kandt, a senior majoring in political science, is a Hays High School graduate. Kalee Kirmer, a senior majoring in biology, is a Thomas More Prep-
Marian High School graduate. She is a returning VIP.
 

ELLIS: William Polland II, a senior majoring in animal science, is an Ellis High School graduate. 

COLBY: Jordan Krzycki, a senior majoring in psychology, is a Colby High School graduate. She is a returning VIP. Anna Taylor, a junior majoring in elementary education, is a Colby High School graduate. Taylor Young, a senior majoring in finance, is a Colby High School graduate. She is a returning VIP

ATCHISON: Rachel Schmidt, a senior majoring in physics, is a Maur Hill-Mount Academy High School graduate. 

SALINA: Alyssa Peppiatt, a senior majoring in organizational leadership, is a Salina South High School graduate. Addison Tritt is a junior majoring in political science.


DENVER, Colo.: Jade Singleton-Reich, a senior majoring in physics, is a East High School graduate. 

GAYLORD: Michaela Sasse, a sophomore majoring in speech-language pathology, is a Smith Center High School graduate. 
HALSTEAD: Gentry Heimerman, a junior majoring in health and human performance, is a Halstead High School graduate. He is a returning VIP. 

KINGMAN: Kirstin Robinson, a junior majoring in radiologic technology, is a Kingman High School graduate. She is a returning VIP. 
LOVELAND, Colo.: Sara Hewson, a junior planning a career in exercise therapy, is a Thompson Valley High School graduate. 
MCPHERSON: Nikolous Rempe, a junior majoring in accounting, is a McPherson High School graduate. Kelsie Sorenson, a senior majoring in communications, is a McPherson High School graduate. She is a returning VIP. 
PARKER, Colo.: Nathan Purdue, a junior majoring in chemistry, is a Chaparral High School graduate.

PRATT: Lindzie Rambat, a senior majoring in nursing, is a Pratt High School graduate. 
SAINT FRANCIS: Matthew Whitmore, a senior majoring in finance, is a Saint Francis High School graduate. 

SEDGWICK: Erica Skiles, a sophomore majoring in nursing, is a Sedgwick High School graduate. 
SHAWNEE: Morgan Murray, a sophomore majoring in nursing, is a Mill Valley High School graduate.
