The Hays Police Department conducted seven traffic stops and received eight animal calls on Monday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Theft: The Hays PD investigated two theft reported on Monday. The first theft was reported in the 100 block of East 12th Street. The alleged theft occurred sometime between March 24th and March 30th. The second theft was reported as a burglary in the 200 block of East 8th Street Monday morning. The theft occurred between Thursday evening at 6:30 and Monday morning at 5:00.

Burglary: Officers investigated two burglary reports on Monday. The first burglary was of a vehicle in the 1400 block of East 8th Street. The alleged burglary occurred between 10:00 a.m. on Friday and 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The burglary of a business was also reported on Monday evening. The burglary was reported in the 1000 block of the Highway 40 Bypass and occurred between Thursday evening at 6:00 and Monday evening at 7:30.

Drug Offenses: The Hays PD investigated two drug related offenses on Monday. The first was reported in the 3300 block of Skyline Drive at 2:09 a.m. The second drug offense was reported in the 500 block of East 16th Street Monday afternoon. The alleged incident occurred between 1:58 and 2:18 Monday afternoon.

Civil Dispute: Officers responded to two civil dispute reported on Monday morning. The first dispute occurred between 9:16 and 9:17 a.m. in the 300 block of West 33rd Street. The second dispute was reported in the 2700 block of Epworth Street at 11:38 Monday morning.

Criminal Damage to Property: Hays Police Officers responded to the report of damage in the 800 block of Elm Street Monday afternoon. Officers investigated the incident as criminal damage to property at 5:05 p.m.

Disturbance: Officers investigated two disturbance reported on Monday. The first was reported in connection with the report of criminal trespass, in the 800 block of Ash Street. The incident occurred between 1:30 and 1:37 Monday morning. The other disturbance was a noise report and an animal call in the 100 block of West 15th Street at 12:09 p.m.

Motor Vehicle Accident: The Hays PD received three reports of motor vehicle accidents on Monday. The first accident was a personal injury accident at 13th and Allen Street at 3:02 p.m. A second accident was reported in the 3200 block of County Lane at 3:40 p.m. The final accident, involving private property, was reported in the 1000 block of East 41st Street at 9:10 Monday night.
