Fort Hays State freshman guard Craig Nicholson has been named to the Division II Bulletin All-Freshman Team. Earlier this year, the Wichita native was named the MIAA Freshman of the Year and a Second Team All-MIAA selection.
Nicholson led the MIAA and ranked second in the nation in assists per game, averaging 6.9, breaking the single-season record of 6.6 set by Raymond Lee in 1982-83. Nicholson also averaged 13.8 points per game, scoring in double figures in 23 of 28 games and reaching 20 points four times.
