Stormy Monday Weather

4-8 - WX

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this evening. If any thunderstorms are able to develop across west central Kansas, very large hail in excess of baseball size are likely, and the isolated storms could be long lived into central Kansas. There is also a chance storms will not develop at all. A cold front will sweep through western Kansas early Tuesday, bringing windy conditions, and cool conditions through mid week. Temperatures will rebound into the 70s again by the weekend.

Today   -A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Areas of dense fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 73. Light east southeast wind becoming southeast 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Tonight–A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. Cloudy, with a low around 55. Breezy, with a southeast wind 13 to 20 mph.

Tuesday–A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 45 by 5pm. Windy, with a light and variable wind becoming north northwest 21 to 26 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph.

Tuesday Night  –A chance of rain showers and snow before midnight, then a slight chance of snow between midnight and 2am. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. Very windy, with a north northwest wind 24 to 31 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
