Theft: The Hays Police Department received one theft report on Wednesday night. Shoplifting was reported in the 4300 block of Vine Street and occurred Wednesday between 9:50 and 10:25 p.m.
Identity Theft: Officers investigated the report of an identity theft in the 3100 block of Hall Street Wednesday morning at 9:47 a.m.
Drug Offenses: The Hays PD investigated two drug offenses on Wednesday. The first drug offense was reported in the 1400 block of Hall Street at 2:53 p.m. The second drug offense was in connection with a criminal threat in the 100 block of East 14h Street at 9:17 p.m. Wednesday.
Lewd and Lascivious Behavior: Officers investigated a report of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior in the 4600 block of Roth Ave Tuesday evening that occurred between 9:30 and 10:30.
Civil Dispute: Police Officers were called to the 500 block of West 30th Street Wednesday afternoon for the report of an incident in connection with a civil dispute report. The incident occurred between 1:04 and 1:45 Wednesday afternoon.
Suspicious Activity: The Hays Police Department investigated two reports of suspicious activity on Wednesday. The first suspicious activity was reported in connection with a disturbance report at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon in the 2500 block of Centennial Towers. The second suspicious Activity was reported in the 3600 block of Vine Street in connection with a suspicious person report at 2:08 Wednesday afternoon.
Motor Vehicle Accident: Officers responded to one hit and run accident on Wednesday morning. The accident, involving private property, was reported in the 2500 block of Canterbury and occurred between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m.
